Cheese Ball

Found in a cookbook obtained at an estate sale in Richardson, Tx on 3/23/2017. Book is titled ‘From the Kitchens of First Baptist,’ said to have been sponsored by the Corian Choir with First Baptist Church in Carthage, Miss. Additional note states that the proceeds from t he book go to send the youth of the church on a mission tour in July 1971. This recipe is attributed to Miss Brenda Wooten.

  • 1 lb. Sharp Cheese
  • 1 lb. Pimento Cheese
  • 1-1/2 lb cream cheese
  • 2 tsp. powdered garlic
  • 2 tsp. red pepper
  • 1-1/2 cup finely chopped nuts
  • 3 Tbsp. Worchestershire sauce

Grate cheeses add other ingredients. Mix. Roll into 2 large or 3 smaller balls. Use 1 can paprika or chili powder to coat. May be wrapped in foil & kept several weeks in Refrigerator.
