Typed on a notecard. No name attributed to recipe. This recipe came from a recipe box obtained at a Richardson, Tx estate sale on 3/23/2017.
Boil to soft ball (a good boil- all ingredients dissolved)
- 2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. Karo
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 t. salt
Add:
- 2 c. peanuts
- 1 1/2 T. butter
Boil until peanuts are thoroughly parched- about 10 min.
Remove from fire and add 1T. soda (it will bubble). Pour on greased cookie sheet
